Pros and cons of NLT Bible app for iPhone and iPad

NLT Bible app good for

This was my first App experience on my iPod Touch and I was able to figure out basic useage very quickly and now I am working on some of the more advanced abilities of the product. The side by side display is quite usefull and alows the reader to see two columns of biblical text, side by side. The search feature is very efficient and red lettering a real bonus. Even note number references, when touched, are elaborated. I havent compared this product with others but my wife has a free bible App on her iPod and she prefers to use mine...guess I have a good hint for her next Christmas gift!

I love how easy this is to use and the ability to have multiple translations available. This app is valuable for comparing translations and is easy to navigate. I tried the free apps but it is worth purchasing this app and it is refreshing to feel I got a lot more for my money than expected. Buy it today! - you will be blessed.

Awesome. Just wish I could figure out how to make margin notes while reading passages

So far so good. I am enjoying the easy access to the Bible where ever I am.

I am enjoying this application tremendously. Have not used the margin notes capability but love having quick access to the scriptures at all times. Ability to read at night, memorization etc.

I love being able to take my bible with me on my phone anywhere I go. Its easy to use and reliable! Price is good too! Thank you :)

Some bad moments

Downloaded on my Pro and also paid for the NIrV translation. When I went to put on my IPhone it downloaded the NLT perfectly, then tried to charge me again for the NIrV version which I had already paid for. Greedy on developers part and they should be ashamed. Should be able to download what I already paid for with no problem. This is ridiculous, will gladly change rating when they correct this grievous error in judgement.

I am so deeply dissapointed that I paid $8 for a bible that is incomplete. It does not have complete chapter verses. I feel ripped off. I choose this app because this is my favorite bible translation. Please, do not buy this bible app. Save your money and time. Ill never trust Tecarta apps.

This poor rating is for the latest update. Worked great until the latest update. Now when I turn to landscape to have access to two bibles, it remains in split screen when I turn it back. I have to close out the app and reopen to remedy this problem. Please fix this bug.

Wonderful app. Had it for years. However … Please fix this bug. I click on the app and it doesnt open. This has been going on since the last update. I would really appreciate it ^___^ Thank you so much! Have a blessed day!

There are too many steps to look up a passage or even a book generally. Also, you need a passage search. Something where without being online, I can do a word or phrase search. A concordance would be nice as well.
